Pranjal Kumar

Backend Engineer, security-focused · Delhi, India

2nd year CSE student at Manav Rachna University. I build backend systems and then find the holes in them. Currently a Project Intern at MR Impact, building the ICCF certification portal for Manav Rachna's Institution's Innovation Council.

Selected work

  • ECDAT — Takes a cryptographic inventory and ranks each asset 0 to 100 for post-quantum migration urgency, naming the NIST replacement. Every score can be opened up and inspected.
  • VulnScanner CLI — Python CLI that runs a port scan, banner grabs, security-header checks, CVE lookups, tech detection and TLS checks in one pass.
  • Cosmo — Windows voice assistant on LiveKit Agents and Google's realtime voice model. Its tools open apps, move the mouse, type, search the web and check the weather.
  • Sahayata — Hackathon prototype that flags possible early signs of dyslexia, ADHD and anxiety in students, so a teacher or parent knows to seek a proper assessment. Not a clinical tool.

Experience

MR Impact

Project Intern · Sep 2026 – Present · Manav Rachna University, Faridabad

  • Lead developer on the ICCF Portal (Institutional Competency Certification Framework) under Dr. Parneeta Dhaliwal, Director, IIC MRU. I started the project in Dec 2025 and joined MR Impact as a Project Intern in Sep 2026.
  • Working on psychometric and technical assessment scoring, certificate issuance, and reports for department heads.
  • Designing for exam halls: offline attempt queueing, two-tier autosave, and pre-compiled exam papers so a full room doesn't multiply database reads.

Hitech Infovision

Web Development & Security Intern · Jun 2025 – Nov 2025 · New Delhi, India (Hybrid)

  • Built and deployed the shop's Next.js 16 storefront (App Router, server components): a filterable hardware catalogue, product pages, a repairs listing and WhatsApp enquiries from any product.
  • Built the admin panel the owner uses to manage products, prices, discounts and services without a developer.
  • Security in layers: server-side prices, input validation with Zod, a strict CSP and security headers, and access control on Supabase.
  • Wrote a custom design system and handled SEO and performance for the launch.

Toolkit

  • Languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, C
  • Frameworks: React, Next.js, FastAPI, Express, Tailwind CSS
  • Security: XSS / CSRF defences, CSP and security headers, Vulnerability scanning, Post-quantum migration
  • Data and tools: PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase, SQLite, Docker, Git, GitHub Actions, Linux
